The article Cornell, Modoc County, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-notable location; seems to have just been a railroad waypoint. Passing mentions could be found: [1], but no significant coverage or information could be found. No mention in Cook's history of Modoc County: [2]. Without further information this site is a failure of WP:GEOLAND.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

The article Black Butte, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Not a community, a non-notable railroad siding named for the nearby mountain of Black Butte, and the adjoining Black Butte Spring. No information found that wasn't about the railroad site, and no evidence was found that this was ever truly a community. It's hard to find information unambiguously about Black Butte (most coverage is of the mountain and surrounding area, or other California places with this name), making this article confusing as well as uninformative. Fails WP:GEOLAND and WP:GNG without further information.

The article Clear Creek, Siskiyou County, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-notable location. Little information found, although nondescript name makes it hard to find mentions that are unambiguously about this place. The cited sources (GNIS and a map) are sufficient for verifiability but not notability, and without further information this place fails WP:GEOLAND and WP:GNG. Satellite view just shows two houses along a river.

The article Valerie, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-notable location. No information found; not mentioned at all in either Holmes' (https://books.google.com/books?id=wm8UAAAAYAAJ&printsec=frontcover&dq=riverside+county&newbks=0&hl=en&ovso=1#v=onepage&q=valerie&f=false]) or Lech's ([3]) histories of Riverside County. Satellite view shows a rural intersection with a gas station. Fails WP:GEOLAND and WP:GNG.

The article Wadstrom, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-notable location; no evidence this was anything more than a railroad waypoint, and not a "community". Not one mention in three histories of Ventura County: [4], [5], [6]. Satellite view just shows an industrial area on the outskirts of Ventura. Cited sources are not sufficient for notability; being in GNIS or being on a railroad line do not confer notability. Glaring failure of WP:GEOLAND and WP:GNG.

The article Leahy, Washington has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-notable location; GNIS does not establish notability. Only mention of this place is a 1935 column describing the daily activities of several people "of Leahy": [8], which is a trivial mention. No other sources found. Satellite view of coordinates shows a rural intersection with two (2) buildings and two (2) trees. Fails WP:GNG and WP:GEOLAND.

The article Dulah, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-notable location. The article itself says Dulah was just a rail siding, which is not a recognized place per WP:GEOLAND. GNIS is not sufficient for notability, and the other two sources do not mention Dulah at all. No information found. Complete waste of bandwidth.

The article Deadwood, Tuolumne County, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Article is factually incorrect. Look at the satellite image of the coordinates: [9]. Does this look like a "community" located on a logging railroad? No, it looks like two dirt tracks meeting in the middle of the forest, and zero other information could be found. GNIS and a place-names book are both considered unreliable for purposes of notability. Fails WP:V and WP:GEOLAND.

The article Cloverland, Washington has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
The article only has one source that that says it's a populated place (GNIS, source 1). GNIS is not considered reliable by the Wikipedia community for the classification of places. The Second source is a coat hanger for the garage. Unfortunately, notability of the Garage is not transferable per WP:GNG. Both commonly used Washington placename books don't list this place [10][11]. The Washington newspapers contain articles about a farming district named cloverland and state that it is the farmland surrounded by the forks of Asotin creek. Basically, an Orchard [12]. There are a couple of google hits implying it's a town, but looking at the actual sources, you see that it's just a rural area. This source, helps explain that it was the name of the voting precinct at one time [13]. There is a website claiming it's a ghost town that lookis convincing but it is copied from one of the sources that misrepresented the place, and there was only a cemetary and a garage which isn't the makings of a town. The fruit operation mentioned in the newspapers failed to pan out, and the area became wheat fields instead of a town. That Garage seems to be all that was ever there.
