Semantic issue
There were 30 draws, but not 30 entrants. Curtis does not qualify as an entrant because he did not legally enter the match, presumably. If coming down the ramp but not entering the rope counts as entering then the result is in limbo. If you are part of the rumble then you need to be eliminated for the remaining guy to win. Curtis either was not part of the rumble (making it a 29-man rumble) or the match hasn't ended yet.
We are supposed to report on the matches that actually happen, not the matches which get announced but then cancelled in favour of an amended match. A 30-man match was promoted but a 29-man match is what ended up happening. Ranze (talk) 04:12, 26 January 2015 (UTC)
- @Ranze: This is not the first time this has happened, and it won't be the last. The match is officially a 30-man Royal Ruble and Axel is officially entrant 6. His "elimination" occurred when he failed to make it to the ring. That is how it was documented in the past on WP and how it should be this time. Take Spike Dudley in the 2004 Royal Rumble match. He was attacked by Kane before officially entering the ring but is officially entrant 13 that year, and is listed as such. Precedent has the Royal Rumble officially as a 30-man Royal Rumble and complete even though an entrant never made it to the ring. If you want to change this precedent, by all means, the pro wrestling WikiProject's talk page is that way. Until then, we will/should follow current precedent. Fastlane move changes
I'm not entirely sure why you keep throwing harsh accusations to my talk page, but I'm going to kindly ignore your harassment. Now it seems like you have a problem with WWE Fast Lane being changed to WWE Fastlane, even though "Fastlane" is the correct title, the title that WWE themselves are using as we speak. Notice how there's no space, now it's possible you have some sort of visual impairment and are unable to see the difference, I can completely understand if that is the case. The deal is, I made a reference change and not a single person has had a problem with the new title because it's correct. The only problem has been with the move itself rather than the actual title, you're accusing me of moving pages without discussing so, even though no discussion was taking place. Yet now, there's a discussion taking place and you're moving the page without discussing. So the exact thing you've accused me of doing, is something you yourself are actually guilty of. I'd like to chalk this up as a common misunderstanding, but all I ask is please judge yourself the same way you judge others.Funkatastic (talk) 02:40, 3 February 2015 (UTC)
- Funkatastic, I'm actually going to have to agree with CRR. You moved the page with no prior discussion or consensus. TheMeaningOfBlah (talk) 04:19, 3 February 2015 (UTC)
- Exactly. It is you who has to wait for the consensus to move because you are the one wanting the new title. I dispute it on the grounds that it's grammatically incorrect and we generally note the title grammatically correct as the main title while acknowledging in prose the stylized version of it. In the end, the burden is on you to gain the consensus once a person disputes your move and you do not move again until you have that consensus. CRRaysHead90 | #RaysUp 04:28, 3 February 2015 (UTC)

Dot Net
Hi CRRaysHead90. If I remember correctly, you were the one pushing for Dot Net to be included as a reliable source some time ago. I've decided to push for it - but I need your help. If you'll edit my user page, you'll see a bunch of links. Those are mainstream reliable sources I found quoting PW Dot Net. If you could find even more mainstream reliable sources quoting PW Dot Net and without them quoting dirt-sheet sites (like WrestleZone, Bleacher Report etc) in the very same article, it will bolster Dot Net's case to be included as a reliable source. Alternatively you could find mainstream sources quoting Dot Net's editor, Jason Powell. Could you help? starship.paint ~ ¡Olé! 13:24, 7 February 2015 (UTC)

Invitation
Speedy deletion nomination of How You Like Me Now?
A tag has been placed on How You Like Me Now? requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G6 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an orphaned disambiguation page which either
- disambiguates two or fewer extant Wikipedia pages and whose title ends in "(disambiguation)" (i.e., there is a primary topic); or
- disambiguates no (zero) extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title.
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Game 2 start date
http://www.nhl.com/gamecenter/en/preview?id=2014030412 is currently listing 7:15pm. The schedule banners on NHL.com is also listing 7:15. I think that is more official. Zzyzx11 (talk) 04:09, 31 May 2015 (UTC)
- So is http://www.nhl.com/ice/schedulebymonth.htm?month=201506 Zzyzx11 (talk) 04:10, 31 May 2015 (UTC)
All three sources are from the NHL how can one be "more official" than another, @Zzyzx11:? Seriously, this warrants discussion because the NHL sources are conflicting with one another. TrueCRaysball | #RaysUp 04:12, 31 May 2015 (UTC)
- I'm citing the ones currently on NHL.com that are being displayed as of now. http://lightning.nhl.com/club/news.htm?id=769287 has a time stamp of 9:49 AM ET -- more than 12 hours ago -- clearly outdated. http://www.cbssports.com/nhl/eye-on-hockey/25200716/stanley-cup-final-tv-schedule-lightning-vs-blackhawks has a time stamp of 11:11 pm ET -- more than an hour ago. I would say what is being displayed on NHL.com is the most current time. Zzyzx11 (talk) 04:16, 31 May 2015 (UTC)
- Ijust refreshed http://www.cbssports.com/nhl/eye-on-hockey/25200716/stanley-cup-final-tv-schedule-lightning-vs-blackhawks and that is now listing 7:15. Zzyzx11 (talk) 04:18, 31 May 2015 (UTC)
- I'm no so concerned with their time stamp, as much with who posted them. They conflict. It warrants discussion. TrueCRaysball | #RaysUp 04:19, 31 May 2015 (UTC)

List Of WWE Network Events
Hi. I have a follow-up on the List Of WWE Network Events page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:List_of_WWE_Network_events. I just got a message today saying the request was denied due to the following reason:
"Comment: Wikipedia is not a directory. My suggestion is to perhaps ask on the WWE talk page and see if there's a need for this there. E. Lee (talk) 16:45, 21 June 2015 (UTC)"
That is really crazy if you ask me. Looking at the history section of the page I noticed that this E. Lee person took less than a minute to review the page before the decision was made. To say that Wikipedia is "not a directory" is laughable considering there are already tons of pages all over Wikipedia consisting of lists. There's already a List Of WWE Pay-Per-View Events page that I'm sure this person did not even bother to check. This person said I should ask to see if there's a need for this page. Well, considering all the trouble we went through to completely change the PPV chronology, I'd say there is definitely a need for this page to exist. What is the next step here in your opinion? OldSkool01 (talk) 02:19, 22 June 2015 (UTC)
- Hey @OldSkool01: - seeing as @TrueCRaysball: has more experience here (re WWE) I'll defer him to you. As a side note though, it should be noted I don't mark a page under review, spend time reviewing, then approve/decline it. I usually give it a good long look, forget to mark it for review, then mark it and then approve/decline =] You're right, I did not purposefully look for a list of WWE PPV events. I only reviewed the article as-is. The rule of thumb I always use is "is this article going to get deleted from a AfD?" In your article's case, if some random editor nominated it for deletion, someone probably would've referenced Wikipedia:What_Wikipedia_is_not#Wikipedia_is_not_a_directory and point out 4: "Directories, directory entries, electronic program guide, or a resource for conducting business." Hope this helps. E. Lee (talk) 02:32, 22 June 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks for the quick response E. Lee. My mistake about the time it took to review the article. I understand now. Once this page is approved I don't see it being nominated for deletion. We had a long(ridiculously long) debate with several other wiki users about what is the best direction to go with this, since WWE moved their PPV events over to the Network in 2014, and the agreed upon decision was to change the name of the PPV Chronology to WWE Network Event Chronology and to create a separate page listing all of the Network Events. I'd link you back to the debate, but it appears to have been archived and I can't seem to find it at the moment. OldSkool01 (talk) 02:49, 22 June 2015 (UTC)
- @Elee: What @OldSkool01 said. The discussion is here. The article was submitted as a draft with WP:PW approval. List articles like this have existed on Wikipedia since the dawn of "Wikipedia time", and have not broken the bank (or WP:NOT in this case) yet. I urge you to reconsider. TrueCRaysball | #RaysUp 03:48, 22 June 2015 (UTC)
- Does the page need to be resubmitted again in order to be approved? If I resubmit it I hope it won't be another month before it's reviewed like last time.OldSkool01 (talk) 05:07, 24 June 2015 (UTC)
- @OldSkool01: I resubmitted it, because I want a second opinion. Because, IMO, E. Lee did not do enough research before casting his decision. TrueCRaysball | #RaysUp 16:09, 24 June 2015 (UTC)

I noticed [1]. Url's don't make links in edit summaries. Wikilinks can do it for revisions and diffs, for example June 26, 2015 at 4:39pm ET or June 26, 2015 at 4:39pm ET. But it takes a little more work and often I don't bother. PrimeHunter (talk) 11:52, 16 July 2015 (UTC)

I'd like to point you to WP:NACD where it says: "Participants, including participating administrators, should not reopen non-admin closures." As nominator, you are a participant. I suggest you revert your re-opening of the discussion. Kraxler (talk) 03:36, 16 August 2015 (UTC)
- Fine, I still don't agree with your rationale, I stopped commenting because no one else had commented to respond to. Secondly, my last nomination was 3 years ago. Not exactly "immediately". I would suggest you undo your closure, or at least issue a better rationale. TrueCRaysball | #RaysUp 03:47, 16 August 2015 (UTC)
- Your rationale doesn't argue for deletion, it does argue for clean-up. You complain about the poor sourcing, and of WP:OR. That's something that must be debated on the pertaining talk page, not at AfD. The article was kept in 2011, so it's not really immediately after, but tell me what has changed in the meanwhile concerning the notability of the broadcast? WP:Notability is not temporary may help to formulate something, if necessary. Kraxler (talk) 03:59, 16 August 2015 (UTC)

Passes GNG
I'm sorry, you have not read WP:GNG if you think that a brief comment on an album related to a video release is enough for an album to meet GNG. Walter Görlitz (talk) 00:43, 6 June 2016 (UTC)
- It's not just that, Walter Görlitz. We have a track listing, album cover, announcement (complete with press release), news coverage (including, but not limited to, Jesus Freak Hideout), promotion in the way of two official lyric video releases (both of which exceed a million views each). The album is even available for pre-ordering in online stores like iTunes, and the two released songs are available to listen to on Spotify. To me and the standards of GNG, it's notable. It has the reliable third-party sources needed to stand on its own. But by all means, the talk page is this way if you do not agree. TrueCRaysball | #RaysUp 01:03, 6 June 2016 (UTC)
- Granted, the coverage is not enormous. But this is a freshly announced album, more information will come in time. For now, there is enough to establish notability for a stub. TrueCRaysball | #RaysUp 01:04, 6 June 2016 (UTC)
- You just don't get it. Walter Görlitz (talk) 04:38, 6 June 2016 (UTC)

over-capitalization
Per WP:NCCAPS and MOS:CAPS, we reserve caps for proper names, as determined by consistent capitalization in sources. Since WWE draft is very often lowercase in sources, we should follow, as we have for several year already. Recent over-capitalization in another sport is not a reason to do so on this one. So I'm working on undoing your recent capitalizations. Dicklyon (talk) 04:20, 22 July 2016 (UTC)
- And I will be reverting you because the sources I have say otherwise, not to mention the idea was uncontested at WT:PW. Please take your comments there where all may comment. TrueCRaysball | #RaysUp 04:21, 22 July 2016 (UTC)
- The onus in on you to show consistent capitalization in sources if you want to change these to caps. I have put my comments on that wresting page, where your local proposal attracted little support but a bit of WP:SSF. Dicklyon (talk) 04:27, 22 July 2016 (UTC)
- I'm about to make my case on WT:PW. Any further replies from me about this subject will go there for the WikiProject to see. TrueCRaysball | #RaysUp 04:30, 22 July 2016 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for July 23
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited WWE Raw, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Big E and The New Day. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Infobox Boxing Match
The infobox on Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Manny Pacquiao seems to have turned into a heavyweight. Does the cache need to be clear, or did the change (which you said wouldn't require changes to the articles themselves) break something? ViperSnake151 Talk 06:06, 29 July 2016 (UTC)
- @ViperSnake151: Where are you seeing heavyweight? I don't remember writing that word when I coded the new box. As for no changes, there might be some that need some text wrapping done with <br/> and {{small}}. But that's the only thing I anticipated. TrueCRaysball | #RaysUp 07:05, 29 July 2016 (UTC)
- No I mean, it was a heavyweight because it was unusually wide. ViperSnake151 Talk 15:40, 29 July 2016 (UTC)
- Which would mean that my third sentence is what you want. I'll do some research and see if there's some sort of coding trick to fix it. TrueCRaysball | #RaysUp 19:17, 29 July 2016 (UTC)
- @ViperSnake151: I took it back to my sandbox and believe I worked out the bug you mentioned. If you find any more, please let me know. TrueCRaysball | #RaysUp 19:47, 29 July 2016 (UTC)
