- Luke Tyler (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) – (View log • Stats)
- (Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL)
Article about non-notable actor. Only reference is to IMDb, which is generally not reliable. Possible conflict of interest, looks like a resume. jfd34 (talk) 13:30, 14 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete. Since I know the actor will be reading this (or at least that's what the name makes it appear who it is), I apologize for any ego bruising. To put it very, very bluntly... this actor is not notable. There is zero coverage of him in any reliable sources. The sources on the article are not notable, with the sources being IMDb, a movie site (which would be considered a primary source), and non-notable blog reviews and interview. A reliable source would be if First Showing interviewed Tyler. I don't see where he's been in multiple films that have been overwhelmingly notable either. Not every film ever made is notable, not even if they star someone who is considered to be notable per Wikipedia's guidelines. Even then you'd still have to show that the roles are notable. Having a character with a name other than "Cop 2" doesn't mean that it's considered notable. I don't see that part of WP:NACTORS being filled. I also don't see where Tyler has a large or notable enough cult following to fill the second guideline. Don't feel bad- you'd have to have an exceptional fan following and I've yet to see someone fit the second criteria without fitting one or both of the other two. As far as the third qualification, that one isn't met either. Tyler just isn't a notable actor at this point in time. Will he be one day? Maybe. The acting world changes pretty quickly and I remember seeing Galifianakis in similar roles in his past. The thing is, we can't keep articles based on the actor one day getting notability, especially in the complete absence of reliable sources.Tokyogirl79 (talk) 14:50, 14 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete as above, also a bit of a vanity page, with unattributed — Luke was praised for an honest performance — although that's damning with faint praise in itself Jimfbleak - talk to me? 06:37, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete per above. Just not notable. Writ Keeper ⚇♔ 13:16, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete - Not Yet, but maybe soon....... - I looked up the references and it looks like sometime in the near future he may be notable, but falls just shy at the moment. I did a little formatting with the page and included a reference that shows he is in the movie Dark Tide. From this reference that is self-published by whoever is promoting the movie [1], it even says he is a "newcomer" to the movie scene. There is just not enough press about him at the moment for me to be able to vote keep.--MalcomMarcomb11376 (talk) 16:58, 17 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
