Merge to franchise page, per nom. Not much else to say, no SIGCOV. Same as Headcrab. The amount of primary and unreliable/userg/walkthrough sourcing in use here is beyond bad. -- ferret (talk) 19:48, 5 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Well you gotta remember the time a lot of these were done too. Wikipedia was still "young", we were looking for any references we could to keep articles afloat, and there were a lot more active editors. I don't think either someone expected the Niemti situation where he abused resources to such an extent it caused a flood of weak articles that forced the standards up over time as people looked back.--Kung Fu Man (talk) 01:52, 6 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Comment I suggested merging headcrabs to a “reoccurring elements” section on the franchise page, maybe the vorts could go there? But they’re also a race of sentient hive-minded beings so they could also count as a character(s?) in their own right. Dronebogus (talk) 16:36, 6 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Comment. While a merge is harmless, I'd definitely recommend a "substantial" merge. There does appear to be at least some significant coverage here, so this shouldn't be a redirect to a single sentence in the main Half-Life franchise article - should go to Characters or Universe of, and have its own section IMO.
