Note that it is important how the duplication is fixed. When the existing parameter lacks a dash, IAbot adds a new parameter ... and for access-date, it seem to add a random date (sometimes current date, but not always).

It's important that the bot retains the original (green) value for accessdate. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 01:14, 12 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
- This is a distinction i would have missed, thank you for commenting BHG. Your thoughtful insights always make my day. Rlink2 (talk) 01:57, 12 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
- Thanks, @Rlink2. Glad that helped.
- It seems that this bot task may be at least partially redundant, following the update to to v2.0.8.4 of IAbot on 10/11 December. See my post[1] just now at m:User_talk:InternetArchiveBot#phab:T291704.
- I had already asked the bot owners for clarification of the upgrade.[2] But in the 11 weeks since I filed phab:T291704, the feedback from the bot owners Harej and Cyberpower678 has been very poor: neither of them has even commented at phab:T291704, let alone triaged the bug.
- So rather than awaiting a reply from Godot, you may prefer to do some extensive testing of the latest version of IAbot.
- Hope this helps. BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 15:40, 12 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
