- the Egba people, a subgroup of the Yoruba people, historically consisting of three sections, the Gbágùrá or Ẹ̀gbá-Àgùrá, the Ẹ̀gbá Òkè-Ọ̀nà, and the Ẹ̀gbá Aké (also known as, and after 1840, the Òwú and Ìbarà have also been regarded as a subgroup within the Ẹ̀gbá capital of Abeokuta).
