I think that if the original English isn't considered sum of parts, then any translations that use like words are inherently also not sum of parts. (If the English "regime change" is acceptable then "정권 변화" is too) —suzukaze (t・c) 21:56, 25 November 2015 (UTC)

I cannot comment on this term specifically but strongly disagree with that general rule. As an example: Private first class is not SOP. But I can imagine some language that uses (translation of private) + (translation of first class) for that same rank, but also uses (rank name foo) + (translation of first class) for any similarly situated rank (the top subrank of foo, or just above foo), which would make all of those SOP. (That's just an example off the top of my head. There's doubtless a better hypo, and almost certainly even a real example.) 정권 변화

SOP, not lexicalized, not very common anyways, and does not refer specifically to the English concept of "regime change". Sounds like English translationese.

The usual collocation is 정권교체 (jeonggwon'gyoche), which might be lexicalized, but this also does not refer to "regime change" specifically but to any change (peaceful, invasive, etc.) in ruling government.
