Pronunciation template for Tibetan, using Tibetan Pinyin and IPA. Relies on Module:bo-pron.

Usage

{{bo-IPA|PINYIN|PINYIN2|...}}

Arguments 1 – ∞ are for Tibetan Pinyin pronunciations of the Tibetan word. Format for Tibetan Pinyin: spaces (" ") denote word divisions, dashes ("-") denote syllable divisions.

Tone letters have been supplemented for Lhasa Tibetan: f = high level, h = high falling, v = low rising, w = low level/rising-falling.

The Old Tibetan pronunciation will also be generated if the spelling of the page title is deemed sufficiently straightforward. In words not attested in Old Tibetan, this pronunciation can be disabled by |otb=-.

An entry demonstrating the use of this template with a reasonably complete set of parameters is གཅིག (gcig).
