Could a |gloss= parameter be added for when the code detects things wrong? (Having the code automatically detect whether something is a gloss or transliteration is interesting, but is way too unreliable TBH) —suzukaze (t・c) 07:34, 30 January 2016 (UTC)

I don't like using an asterisk to suppress linking. It is too similar to the universally-accepted reconstruction asterisk, and the normal {{l}} already has special behavior corresponding to such usage (*qwertyuiop). —suzukaze (t・c) 04:40, 2 November 2017 (UTC)
