Etymology
[edit]Inherited from dialectal Maghrebi Arabic (compare Tunisian Arabic فَلّوس (fallūs), Libyan Arabic فِلُّوس (fillūs), Moroccan Arabic فلوس (fallūs)), from a Berber language, from Latin pullus.
