[edit]Borrowed from Hokkien, possibly 引公 (ín-kong),[1][2][3] recorded in the Dictionario Hispanico Sinicum (1626-1642) as "ìncóng",[4] or 咉公 (ńg-kong). Compare Indonesian engkong.
