Long before the community create Memory Cards that work with SD cards and/or Micro SD cards, in 2003 Nintendo had already made an adapter for SD cards (in the case of Micro SD cards, an adapter is required) to fit into the GameCube’s memory card slot.
This adapter only came out in Japan, and as far as I know there’s only one game that uses it, and that’s Doubutsu no Mori e+, which is a update based on the western version of Animal Crossing, but with new features, such as: new villagers, new furnitures and new K.K. songs.
