This is something I fumbled my way into when I was renovating a dollhouse, and now I use it all the time. I didn't know if anyone else knew coffee and glue make perfect fake dirt, but I thought I'd share. This is something I fumbled my way into when I was renovating a dollhouse, and now I use it all the time. I didn't know if anyone else knew coffee and glue make perfect fake dirt, but I thought I'd share. Take three bottles of cheap Elmer's-style school glue and one of those dollar store packs of coffee. Combine in a bucket and stir until it's a thick paste. Work quickly because it sets up fast! Press it into place and let it dry overnight. It will make hard, very authentically…
