"Welcome to Kingfisher Potters! This beautiful light wheel-thrown stoneware mug is glazed using turquoise and yellow glazes. The blue drip glaze gives each mug an individuality while also being a member of a beautiful set. Both glazes are food safe and microwave safe. Due to the nature of the yellow drip glaze the image represents the style and color of the piece. The exact item shipped to you will vary slightly in pattern markings. The process for making these mugs is multi-stepped and individualized. First the form of the mug is thrown using a stoneware clay on the wheel. The handle is pulled separately and then attached. The piece once all the parts are formed is left to dry and then bisque fired. The bisque fired pots are dipped in the turquoise glaze and left to dry.
