Angela Judd on Instagram: "Make unlimited rosemary! Here's how to do it:

• Choose young shoots that aren’t flowering and are 6-8 inches long.
• Remove the bottom half of the leaves and root in water.
• Change the water every few days to keep the environment oxygenated and prevent rotting.
• After a few weeks, you should notice root hairs forming in the water.
• Pot up the rooted cuttings when several roots are an inch or more long.

It’s an exciting process and fun to grow new plants!

Resh Gala | Organic Gardener on Instagram: "How to Propagate & Multiply Rosemary:
🌱 Take 5” cuttings from your rosemary plant. Choose stems that are healthy, tender, white and pliable, not hard and woody as old stems are very difficult to propagate.
🌱 Strip off few lower leaves (so they are not buried under the soil). Dip the stem in water and then in some mycorrhizal fungi to encourage root growth. I prefer that over rooting hormone.
🌱 Push the stem into a small pot that’s filled with organic potting soil.
🌱 Water well and place the cuttings on a sunny windowsill or under grow lights (in fall/ winter) or in a shaded patio (if it’s summer time).
🌱 Roots will start forming in 4 to 6 weeks. Must the plant as needed but avoid overwatering.
