Actually, your plantar fascia and your hip function can both improve with better toe extension. 

Think of the bend that happens in your toe to walk on tip toes. This backward bend is an important part of walking. 

You need a whopping 45 degrees of toe extension for normal walking! 😳

Getting good toe extension helps to:

✅ Create an arch in your foot (which decreases stress on the plantar fascia) 

✅ Transfer force to the hip without extra motion or compensation
