I hate wearing high-water pants! I did it enough growing up the middle child of 7, often getting hand-me downs from my older sisters (who are now 5 inches or so shorter than I am). I have a lot of gripes about ill-fitting clothes... Back in the 90's, when I was in grade/high school, pants were not so tight and fitted. Missy Luukkonen on Instagram: "Calling anyone who’s bought the perfect jeans only to find that the length isn’t quite right….or if you’re a short girl like me they are usually 5” too long! We all know that when you hem jeans the traditional way, the look like they have been hemmed. The way to avoid that is to keep the original hem. Here is how to do just that: Put them on and cuff them up to your desired length. Stand up straight and put on some shoes to make sure you like where they hit. Pin just above the cuff. Then measure from the bottom of the cuff to the bottom of the original hem. Pin this way all the way around the leg. Try them on again to be sure. When you have them on, carefully tuck the cuff up into the leg and fold the original hem down just to test the length one mor Diy Hemming Jeans, Jean Cuffs How To Fold, Hem Long Pants, Heming Jeans Hack, Rehemming Jeans, How To Fold Up Jeans Cuffs, Hemming Jeans Hack, Best Way To Hem Pants, Diy Hem Jeans

Lovely. on Instagram: "Are you a more vertically challenged Lovely? If you’ve ever struggled to find the right jean length, you’re in the right place! Here is a quick and easy, no-cut, no-sew hack to put those longer length jeans to use!

1. Using your fingers, tuck the lower section of your pant leg that’s between the lower calf and ankle area up inside of itself.

2. When you get the original hem to just about an inch or so below the length you are aiming for, fold it upwards, creating a “cuff” out of the remaining fabric that is still sticking out.

3. Do this again on the other leg, taking care to examine both sides for equal lengths.
