carl von hassler | ... Carl Von Hassler | Original Painting Autumn in Tesuque, NM - Adobe Art For Painting, Taos Art, New Mexico Art, Taos Pueblo, Northern New Mexico, Art Native American, Native American Paintings, Architecture Homes, Native American Artwork

The village of Tesuque is just 5 miles north of Santa Fe. Von Hassler often painted on site in areas such as this in Northern New Mexico. He particularly liked these small Northern villages between Santa Fe and Taos as they mostly had remained unchanged since the late 1800s. Isolated as they were from the mainstream towns of Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and Taos, they tended to retain their rural atmosphere and charm.
