My textile artwork incorporates many textile techniques, the most dominant techniques are appliqué or collage and free machine embroidery, my work has evolved over the years and my most recent work is mixed media as papers and paint are often used. I have started working in a series, developing a theme or topic making 4 or 5 works at the same time, sometimes using a printing technique c

This embroidery was inspired by a sketch I made back in the summer whilst visiting the Norfolk Broads.It measures 20cm x 20 m the mount measures 30cm squared.
