Teach students to tolerate others by helping them think beyond what they see on the outside.  For example, I share a story about how I overcame my feelings, and actions, connected with road rage.  I tell them that I decided that maybe those drivers in such a big hurry really did have an emergency - maybe someone they love is hurt and they need to get to the hospital.  When I think that way, I feel more like just getting out of the way and letting them get around me instead of getting angry.
