Recently I couldn’t find the (no judgement) Pillsbury Pizza Dough I usually use, so I decided I had time to make a half batch of my homemade pizza dough.

These are a favorite of my kids. They bring back memories of school lunch for me since that is when I remember discovering them as a kid. We ate a lot of hot dogs growing up - even on pizza since they were an inexpensive meat. But, I don't remember my mom making wiener wraps. As odd as it seems, my siblings and I looked forward to when they made it on the hot lunch menu. They really are simple to make. Begin by making a batch of your favorite bread dough or pizza dough. Roll out, brush with Dijon and then cut. One long cut vertically through the middle, then two more vertical cuts through each of those pieces. Giving you 4 long strips. Use the perforations already on the dough to separate the pieces. How many you will need depends on the size of your wreath but l used about 1.5 packages. Add cocktail hotdog inside and wrap. Place on lined baking sheet in a shape of a wreath. Make sure sides are touching!! Brush with egg wash and cover with everything but the bagel seasoning. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 20-22 minutes or until golden. Remove and serve with your favourite dip- I used Wiener Wraps Crescent Rolls, Hot Dog Wreath Crescent Rolls, Little Smokies And Crescent Rolls, Wrapped Hot Dogs Crescent, Mini Hotdogs In Crescent Rolls, Crescent Roll Dough Sheet Recipes, Mini Hot Dogs In Crescent Rolls, Hotdogs In Crescent Rolls, Pillsbury Crescent Recipes Appetizers
