SECUENCIA DIDCTICA
INICIO (10 minutos)
El docente ingresa al aula y saluda a los estudiantes: Good morning/Good afternoon.
El docente muestra algunas de las medicinas ya estudiadas para que los estudiantes las nombren.
El docente pregunta:
Do they have side effects like I am ok with my back but my stomach hurts? (Yes!)
Are there other better options? (Yes!)
Can you name examples? (Remedies)
El docente pregunta por el tema de la sesin: Healthy medicine.
DESARROLLO (60 minutos)
o El docente pega las imgenes mostradas anteriormente para que los estudiantes escriban debajo
de ellas algunos remedios naturales. El docente brinda ayuda con expresiones que requieran los
estudiantes.
o Se entrega la ficha de aplicacin para que practiquen individualmente (ver recurso 1). El docente y
los estudiantes revisan las respuestas. El docente brinda retroalimentacin, de ser necesaria.
o El docente pregunta a los estudiantes:
o Do you think Peruvian people have healthy remedies? (Yes)
o What other countries are popular to have healthy remedies? (Mxico, Bolivia, etc.)
o El docente explica a los alumnos que leern un texto acerca de remedios caseros de otros pases.
Debern leerlos y decir qu pas o pases son (ver recurso 2). Los estudiantes repasan la lectura
rpidamente, solo para encontrar la respuesta. Luego el docente pide que lean con ms
detenimiento a fin de responder las preguntas que estn en la misma ficha. El docente y los
estudiantes revisan las respuestas. Los estudiantes debern explicar el porqu de su respuesta. El
docente brinda retroalimentacin, de ser necesaria.
o Luego de revisar la ficha, el docente pregunta a los estudiantes:
o Which remedy is popular in our country too? Why?
o Which remedy is very unusual? Why?
o Which remedy do you think is very effective? Why?
o Which remedy do you think is not effective? Why?
o El docente agrupa a los estudiantes de 3 para que completen un organizador visual con la
informacin del texto. El docente monitorea el trabajo.
CIERRE (20 minutos)
Metacognicin: el docente pide a los alumnos que discutan las siguientes preguntas en parejas:
o How many verbs can I remember?
o Is it easy to create questions?
o How many words are included in my sentences?
o Do I work hard?
