    El cuento de una sirena que se convirtió en sal:

    Había una vez una sirena que vivía en el fondo del mar. A pesar de
    que su vida se encontraba en las profundidades, ella anhelaba salir a
    la superficie y vivir una vida humana.

    Esa misma noche decidió visitar el pueblo cercano, donde


    celebraban unas fiestas. Salió de la orilla convertida en una hermosa
    doncella, de cabellera rubia y espesa. Tomó prestado un vestido que
    encontró cerca y caminó hacia el lugar del que provenía la música.
    Entre la multitud distinguió un joven alto y apuesto, que la miraba
    con el mismo interés que ella lo hacía. Para su sorpresa el joven la
    tomó de la mano y la invitó a bailar. Bailaron toda la noche sin
    parar, a pesar de que la sirena nunca antes lo había hecho.
    No se dijeron nombres, solo se despidieron prometiéndose que la
    noche siguiente se volverían a encontrar en el muelle. Así ocurrió, al
    igual que la siguiente y la siguiente. Tomó solo tres noches para que
    floreciera el amor entre el desconocido y la sirena, que era feliz
    como nunca antes.
    .La sirena rompió a llorar, su corazón no podía aguantar la tristeza
    de no volverlo a ver. Sin darse cuenta la luna comenzó a languidecer
    y el sol comenzó a anunciar el amanecer, hasta que fue demasiado
    tarde. No le importó, se entregó a la calidez del astro rey que rompió
    el hechizo y la convirtió en una preciosa estatua de sal, situada
    frente al mar. Ahí permanece todavía, esperando el regreso de su
    amor algún día.
    The story of a mermaid that became salt:

    There was once a mermaid who lived at the bottom of the sea. Even
    though her life was in the depths, she longed to come to the surface
    and live a human life

    That same night he decided to visit the nearby town, where they
    celebrated a party. She left the shore turned into a beautiful maid,
    with thick blond hair. He borrowed a dress he found nearby and
    walked to the place where the music came from.

    Among the crowd, she saw a tall, handsome young man, who was
    looking at her with the same interest she did. To his surprise the young
    man took her by the hand and invited her to dance. They danced all night
    without stopping, even though the siren had never done it before.

    No names were said, they just said goodbye promising that the next night
    they would meet again at the dock. So it happened, like the next and the
    next. It took only three nights for love to blossom between the stranger
    and the mermaid, who was happy as never before.

    The siren burst into tears, her heart could not bear the sadness of not
    seeing him again. Without realizing the moon began to languish and
    the sun began to announce the dawn, until it was too late. He did not
    care, he gave himself to the warmth of the star king who broke the
    spell and turned it into a beautiful statue of salt, facing the sea.
    There he remains, waiting for the return of his love someday.
