1. DEMOSTRATIVE ADJECTIVES

Estos adjetivos acompañan al hombre e indican la proximidad que hay entre


la persona que está hablando y el nombre al que acompañan. Los adjetivos
demostrativos se utilizan para determinar la posición de las cosas.

SINGULAR PLURAL
This These
That Those

This and These is used when the object is far.


That and Those is used when the is near

Examples:

a) This restaurant is expensive

b) That was a wonderful film

c) These students are intelligent.

d) Those books are interesting.

2. POSSESSIVE ADJECTIVES

Los adjetivos posesivos en inglés hacen referencia al poseedor y no a la cosa poseída


y se usan con más frecuencia en inglés que en español. 
Preceden normalmente a los sustantivos que indican partes del cuerpo, parentesco,
vestimenta y objetos personales, nombres que se usan en español con el artículo
determinado.

3. QUALITY ADJECTIVES

Son palabras que acompañan al nombre para calificarlo de alguna manera.


En inglés, los adjetivos van delante del nombre al que acompañan.

4. DETERMINED ARTICLES

These are before a noun in a sentence.

Singular Plural

Examples:

a) The dog is running in the garden.

b) The girl studies at the university.

c) The dogs are running in the garden.

d) The girls study at the university.

5. INDETERMINED ARTICLES

Masculine Feminine
a , an (un) a, an (una)

“A” is used when the noun begins in consonant

“An” is used when the noun begins in vowel

Examples:

a) A white house on the green hill

b) I have seen a beautiful car today

c) We have bought a new computer

d) I want a bottle of washing-up liquid

e) We all want to own a house
