La Inteligencia Artificial (IA) se refiere a la tecnología mediante la cual una

computadora, un dispositivo u otro sistema, es capaz de realizar tareas que
normalmente requieren capacidades cognitivas humanas. Esto significa que un
sistema informático puede analizar información, tomar decisiones basadas en

algoritmos y aprender según la información que recibe (1). En las últimas semanas

Si bien ChatGPT ofrece una redacción sin plagio, existen igualmente herramientas
de IA que pueden detectar si un escrito fue hecho por un humano o por
inteligencia artificial. Este es el ejemplo de la herramienta GPTkit, que se
constituye en una herramienta para detectar el uso no ético de la IA (4).
Finalmente, una opción que podría recomendarse para la redacción científica es
Paperpal, una poderosa opción de IA que revisa la gramática de escritos

científicos y especialmente útil para quienes no hablan inglés de forma nativa. Esta herramienta realiza
correcciones de sintaxis y de ortografía; asimismo, soporta idiomas diferentes al inglés y realiza la traducción
correspondiente (5).
En conclusión, las opciones de IA no pueden (ni deben) reemplazar a los investigadores en la redacción científica
y estos deben hacer uso de estas tecnologías con celosa ética, con el fin de optimizar sus trabajos, creando
estructuras de redacción y no de contenido.

In conclusion, the AI options cannot (and should not) replace researchers in scientific writing, and researchers should
make use of these technologies with zealous ethics in order to optimize their work, create writing structures, and
