Arnold Bakker
Arnold B. Bakker is professor of Work & Organizational Psychology at Erasmus University Rotterdam, The Netherlands, and Adjunct professor at Lingnan University, Hong Kong. He is also distinguished visiting professor at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa, and past president of the European Association of Work and Organizational Psychology (2009-2013). His research interests include positive organizational behavior (e.g., work-related flow, employee engagement, OCB), happiness, burnout, crossover of work-related emotions, and internet/smartphone applications of organizational psychology. His articles have been published in journals such as Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Organizational Behavior, and Journal of Occupational Health Psychology. Arnold Bakker is series editor of "Current issues in Work and Organizational Psychology" (Psychology Press) and "Advances in Positive Organizational Psychology" (Emerald), and editor (with Michael Leiter) of the book “Work engagement: A handbook of essential theory and research” (2010; New York: Psychology Press).
