What the media won't show
It’s actually pretty nuts how there is no real mass media coverage of the protests that are happening all over the US. It demonstrates fairly conclusively that the unlawful activities at the White House aren’t just limited to Trump. There’s a lot of wealthy people in powerful positions in the US and around the world helping to support the dismantling of the US federal government.

it's so sad to see how wen remnants and their tragedy just became a prop for making other characters better in the fandom. for angst and drama between "yunmeng bros". for making nie mingjue seem more morally righteous than he actually is (fuck that guy honestly). or ppl just forget about the nature of their deaths and how each clan and some of their favourites were actually complicit in their murders. it's so funny even how many ppl just sweep the first siege under the rug and pretend as though wen remnants weren't brutally murdered. i just feel so saddened by this. why do they need to lessen the tragedy of their deaths? just to continue to believe that their favourite characters did nothing wrong?

Despite how terrible this fandom treats the themes of the novel, there are times where I’m glad that this is a resurrection story and not a rebirth novel. There is no “fix-it” where a character gets to go back and right all the wrongs while all the villains learn no lessons because they never reach the endpoint of their schemes. In canon, every wrongdoer is haunted by their own evil. Wei Wuxian, Wen Ning, and the Wen remnants all crawl out of their graves where the cultivation world threw them, and it warms my heart how, no matter how much they wish it, fandom has to contend with the fact that the novel is named and follows after the resurrected victim of their crimes. The Wen remnants finally get to reincarnate in peace while the rest of the cultivation must live out the rest of their lives staring in the face of their immorality.
I don't know what people call it in English, but I read some JC stans calling them " daños colaterales", casualties, I think? My heart just broke. For a lot of stans, and sadly even some wwx, lwj or Wangxian stans, they were something to hide or forget. People even forget there is no Lan Shizui without Wen Yuan. And there is no Wen Yuan without the first person who protects him and probably keeps him alive in the Jin camp, Wen Popo.
It’s a 1:1 translation to English: collateral damage. And yeah, that’s what people treat them as, particularly the “if only wwx had done xyz” crowd. They act as if the Wen remnants were only incidentally hated because of wwx, and wwx just incidentally became involved with them cause he was strolling by their undisturbed village and randomly got the urge to be their protector, so if they just separate the two or “make wwx good,” then the Wen remnants would just be living peaceful lives in their ancestral home.
The Gaza hospital that was just bombed had international staff! I'm not here to play perfect victim politics but they played a role by relaying their experiences to the news and would have played a key role in testimony for UN tribunals they're trying to kill international witnesses
And these doctors/surgeons are experts in the field they've been providing for gazans as Gazan doctors continue to be targeted and killed. They're needed.
