I did a bit of thinking about it since I figured people might ask.. and I decided that yes! I would be willing to draw Octonauts fanart for the paid requests. But, I wont be posting the Octonauts stuff to Tumblr afterwards and it will be locked behind a paywall on my ko-fi.

The reason for this is because I left the fandom due to constant disrespect of my boundaries. More than any other fandom in fact. The constant art tracings, reposts, design theft, AU copying, head cannon copying,, it was never ending. Even to this day I still have to go on Pinterest and take down my stolen Octonauts art in waves.

So I want to do what I can to limit the visibility to my Octonauts stuff in hopes it’ll weed those disrespectful people out. Locking it behind a paywall and having a “KO-FI EXCLUSIVE” watermark should hopefully do the trick.

That sounds awfully complicated to set up.. 💀 I am not tech savvy and trying to set up ko-fi is already so overwhelmingly complicated for me.😔 But thank you for the suggestion <:)

I don’t see why I would have to limit the fandoms :0 as long as I can look up references for those unknown characters it should be fine! :)

Plus if someone sends in a request to a fandom that I don’t want to participate in, then I can always refund them and apologize. Then maybe noting that fandom on a “wont draw” list of some kind-

When it comes to people sending in some kind of abysmal drawing request that in on the edge of my boundaries, surly I can just refund them and tell them I wont draw that. Right..?

As for the guidelines, I will do my best to make them crystal clear. And hopefully my usual bold watermark will prevent people from lying and saying they got permission to repost it or something. <:0

So after reading through everyone’s comments (Thank you everyone btw! :33) I have come back with my request sheet 2.0. (Still just a sketch-)

As multiple people suggested, I have raised my prices and added an additional fee for multiple characters. I’m still thinking of doing the 3 different art style options, and 3 different levels of drawings that can be requested. The info that I will put onto my ko-fi is as follows,

“What will you not draw?: OCs, ships/romance, and heavy gore. (I will update this and be a bit more specific in the full version)

How can this drawing be used?: I reserve all rights to each paid request that I draw, and I ask that they not be posted to any social media account or used in any way for any reason by the requester. This includes but is not limited to, profile pictures, backgrounds, and discord emojis. I intend to post most if not all the drawings that are requested here on my Tumblr blog sometime after completion. You can request to have your Tumblr blog credited in my Tumblr post or to remain anonymous <:)

Refunds and payment?: All requesters will pay full price upfront. If for some reason I cannot complete the piece a full refund will be issued with an apology and hopefully a reasonable explanation :(

How long can you expect to wait?: I am new to this so am not sure how long it will take me to make each drawing.. or how I will handle the stress and my symptoms. But it cant be more than three-four days 😅”

I hope that my wording is clear enough. Its just going to be like my drawing suggestions I do during art block but I will be paid to draw them.. is there any critiques or notes anyone has to share? Prices to high? Still too low..? My wording about my boundaries not clear enough..? (I also intend to add better example drawings for each tier-)

I am still very lost and confused, and looking for information has been very overwhelming. So I was hoping to get any thoughts/advice and critiques before I make this official <:)

I’ve been working on this comic for several days now. Its safe to say I haven’t gotten much faster at this drawing style.. 😅 I think I need to keep experimenting with different drawing styles in hopes I’ll find one that’ll make drawing TFP comics less draining.. (; _ _ )

Aside from that- I tried out a few design changes with Ratchet and I tried making the canvas size significantly bigger! You think the image is a bit clearer now? I hope so! <:D I might use this canvas size (W-1455 H-2000) for my future TFP comics :)

My last note is, Ratchet is the best XDD 🚑🧡

I am… attempting to gather as much information as I can at atm 💀

So far I have learned 2 things. 1 is that having my commissioned pieces be “not for commercial use” sounds like what I’m gonna want to do. And 2, that I really don’t wanna do commissions.

I never thought I’d hear anyone say this, especially not me. But MAN do I wish I could just recover from this stupid thing, get my anxiety under control and go get a cruddy part time job so I can keep money away from my hobby. Commissions is turning out to be all that I feared it would be. 😔

So I saw this post on YouTube and it made me think to try drawing some OCs in a similar style! (Chibi-ish with thick lines :0)

So I dug around and found some old web comic OCs that I never got around to coloring and thought I’d give it a go! :)

I had 8 OCs lined up but only had enough steam to finish these two. 😮‍💨😔The owl creature was going to be one of the main monsters/antagonists that hunts the main group. And the clown creature was going to be the guardian/best friend/totally not father figure to the main protagonist! :)
