Ambulon is a minor character in the Transformers franchise, only appearing in More Than Meets the Eye.

He may appear stitched together in fanart, particularly Halloween themed ones (resembling Frankenstein's monster,[1]) or to show one side Autobot the other Decepticon.[2]
Subjects of Fannish Interest & Meta
In 2013, James Roberts, head writer of "More Than Meets the Eye," said that Ambulon wasn't his original name in-universe and that he only goes by it because someone else more famous than him goes by his original name. This was later confirmed to be Thunderclash at TFNation 2018.[3] Fan input at the convention also made him change his mind that Ambulon's original alt-mode was a hovercar to a medical evacuation helicopter. Fans speculated what these were before this.
When Ambulon's corpse was used to form Defensor in 2017, some fans didn't like how it wasn't foreshadowed and that it implied he wasn't given a burial when the Lost Light went to Cybertron again in between MTMTE and LL and easily could've done so.[4][5]
