it’s early. too early. like, the kind of early that makes you groan and bury yourself deeper into the warmth of your blankets. but the problem is… jungkook is your blanket. and he’s not having it.

he’s pressed up against you, bare skin against bare skin, all warmth and muscle and soft sheets tangled between your legs. his arm is slung lazily around your waist, fingers tracing little patterns on your hip, his breath warm as he buries his face into the curve of your neck.

“baby,” he murmurs, voice all raspy and sleep-heavy, lips brushing over your skin. “wake up.”

you let out a tiny, sleepy whine, turning your head away from him, but he only chuckles, the sound deep and so smug, like he knows exactly what he’s doing. because, of course, he does.

his lips move slowly, pressing the softest, laziest kisses along your jaw, your shoulder, the back of your neck. “come on,” he whispers, his hand sliding over your stomach, fingers spreading over your ribs, warm and teasing. “don’t make me do something drastic.”

and ugh, he’s so annoying. but also, he feels so good. so solid and warm behind you, his lips sending tiny little shivers down your spine with each kiss. his hand moves again, fingertips just barely brushing under your breasts now, featherlight.

you suck in a breath. he grins against your skin.

“there you are,” he whispers, nipping at your earlobe, voice smug as ever. “good morning, my love.”

A rustle of sheets, “Hm?”

“You’re suffocating me again,”

It was a nightly routine of Satoru wrapped around you, limbs entangled with yours until you were pressed against him and the wall. And one way or another, you would disengage yourself from his death grip and fall asleep, only to find yourself back in it the next morning.

And you loved it — loved being engulfed in his soft plush and hard planes of his body, his face buried in the crook of your neck or the valley of your chest. But sometimes…you just wanted some space.

“Can you move over a little, Toru? I don’t have any room,” and it had been the second time you had asked recently, and usually your request was met with protest and whining, until he relented. But this time he had rolled over without even a word.

“Thank you,” you sighed, easing yourself from the wall, eyes still shut, until you reach over to his side to feel nothing there. Your eyes flutter open only for you to snort.

You found his back to you, lying on the floor.

“Satoru, what? What are you doing?”

“My own wife doesn’t love me,” and you can’t help but laugh, and he whirls on you, “first Megumi doesn’t call me dad and now you don’t want to cuddle me! Am I that repulsive?”

“Well when you throw a tantrum—“ and he’s pouting now, “baby get back on the bed, I just wanted some space, not for you to sleep on the floor,”

“Maybe my wife rather would have her space—“

“Get on the bed, and I’ll cuddle you, paintbrush head.”

And finally he settles in beside you, your arms curled around him, and you press a kiss to his lips, before he murmurs, “how do I get Megumi to call me dad?”

“Go to sleep, Satoru.”
