I like how all the cool girls in Europe are staying cool in Cos this summer, because, stateside, I can, too! (And, um, afford it!) Cos' signature sleek, super streamlined silhouettes not only scream The Row but the prices are very reasonable (unlike The Row). In my shopping cart: these tailored (dinner-worthy) shorts, these paper-bag trousers (below), this open-back midi dress (below), this perfectly-oversized linen button-down, and these pleated pants.

Stylish New Yorkers springing ahead in their newest skin-baring shoes are inspiring me to follow in their footsteps--along with 55 degree-proof sheer tights (I just bought these for $25 but these also good!). As for the shoes, I love Leandra Cohen's forever-elegant sandals by The Row, below, and the pointy-toe Toteme slingback, above. Plus these by Miu Miu and Zara.
