Dove. Vogue, 2005. This ad fulfills the self- esteem concept. It is made to make the person viewing the ad feel better about themselves by showing them that everyone is beautiful in their own way.

While many companies aimed towards females use models who don't represent the majority of women - whether that be in size, ethnicity, age, etc. - Dove's "Real Beauty" campaign uses real women (never models) to show that beauty comes in many forms. I personally like this because it's refreshing and sets Dove apart as a company.

As part of a new Positive Beauty vision and strategy, Unilever has announced that it will eliminate the word ‘normal’ from all beauty and personal care brands’ packaging and advertising.
