This article is related to my groups topic because our topic has to deal with patient life; mental, physical, and terminal illness. This is related to what we talked about in class because within this last chapter, we read about intelligence and the lack of intelligence with learning disabilities such as Dyslexia. While no two brains are alike, the brains of people with dyslexia are distinctly different when compared to those without dyslexia. Dyslexic brains function differently because they are organized/wired differently. They even look different, though not to the naked eye. Scientists use neuroimaging tools, fMRI machines, to study the differences in the structure and function of these two brain types. Here is a visual of this information.
