This is a set of hand painted wooden spoons. I have chosen fall rustic colors and painted the images of an owl, scarecrow, pumpkin and crow and sunflower on each. They are antiqued with stain and coated with a primer to keep them looking nice longer.Each has some homespun fabric and raffia tied to them. They can be used in crocks as crock fillers or as plant pokes - they are soo versatile!! I can even make a set for you to hang on your walls (just message me and let me know you are interested!) P.S - I paint the spoons on an order by order basis and it may take the full 5 business days if my shop is busy. If needed as a gift, please specify date needed so that I can adjust my schedule. Listing is for wooden spoons only Set of 4 Inspirational Holiday Wooden Utensils/Crock/Jar Fillers Each utensil has been hand painted in our studio with a base coat of tucan red and white. The inscriptions joy, peace, hope, and love have been painted using a metallic gold with green and red accents. The pieces have been distressed for a primitive look and finished with stain. Three measures approximately 12" in length and one approximately 10". Each set is hand painted and distressed which will cause variations in color, size, and design making them unique and one of a kind. For my spoon ornaments, I start by forming a hook from the spoon's handle. I then saw off the excess material from the handle and hammer the spoon flat. I then paint the spoon with a holiday design - usually a snowman face or a Christmas tree. I like to add dimension by adhering beads as well (creating ornaments on the trees, or the snowman's eyes/mouth). To finish off the ornament, I tie a bow to the top using fabric scraps. For my spoon ornaments, I start by forming a hook from the spoon's handle. I then saw off the excess material from the handle and hammer the spoon flat.
