Vintage iron

Vintage cast iron sad (solid) iron with an amazing dark patina and lots of character. The lettering on the top of the iron is difficult to read - I think the first letter is "H" and I can make out "H & CO 7". The "7" should be the weight, but on my scale, it is 6 pounds, 7 ounces, so maybe that was close enough back in the day. The iron has wear on all sides, including some paint spatter, but looks great in my opinion, this would be a great decorative item for a laundry room (easy to repaint…
