📌Overproofed dough tends to look puffy and swollen. It might have lost its structure and appear deflated or collapsed in some areas. The surface may have large air bubbles or blisters.

📌When you touch overproofed dough, it will feel delicate and fragile. It lacks the firmness and elasticity of properly proofed dough. You might notice a slack or loose texture, and it may feel sticky or overly soft.

📌Gently poke the surface of the dough with your finger. If the indentation remains and doesn’t spring back slowly, it’s a sign of overproofing.
