These gorgeous earrings were hand-crafted in the Georgian period, around the year 1800. They are crafted in 8ct rose gold and silver, and feature two stunning natural rock crystal quartz stones on each earring - one large round quartz stone at the top, and a large teardrop-shaped quartz drop. In between, each earring has a small round stone that looks the same as the quartz stones, but tests as paste. It was not uncommon for Georgian jewellery makers to 'mix and match' stones in this way.
