YALL HELP IM SOBBING
So my computer hasn’t been letting me do my EHR Tutor assignment on my computer so I’ve been doing it on my phone. And at some point in my Narrative Note a word autocorrected to Spock. I WORTE SPOCK IN A GRADED HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENT. AND MY PROFESSOR COPIED IT TO MAKE NOTES ABOUT IT AND IM JUST LOOKING AT SPOCK IN BIG BOLD LETTERS. IM GOING TO JUMP OFF A CLIFF.
How do I begin to explain this to her. “Sorry bout that Professor. I write a lot of Star Trek fanfiction and in my attempt to write spot my phone accused me of lying and called me a nerd to my face and instead corrected it to Spock. Again; my apologies.”
Honesty is the best policy right?
Hopefully I don’t have her for my test out on a skill in a few minutes. I might die if I do.
I GOT HER FOR MY TEST OUT AND SHE POINT BLANKED ASKED ME IF I SAW HER NOTE AND I WANTED TO CRY.
I APOLOGIZED IN PERSON FOR WRITING SPOCK AND I WAS LIKE “yeah, I’m a Trekkie. I write Spock daily. My phone autocorrected.” And she just nodded her head and was like “I figured” 😭
She responded to my note and I’m torn between trying to be normal and laughing in the middle of class
So today I had my midterm evaluation with her 😂🤦🏽♀️
And basically saying how strong I am doing in the class blah blah blah but like, she notices that my charting can be lacking and not “nurse like” since I’m so use to having to reel myself back at work to my scope and I mentioned how sometimes I feel like I’m doing to much here and do that and she’s like “maybe we need a safe word I can use if it happens again.” And she says how my notes are good barring any mistakes and I’m laughing and I just say “I’m just thinking about Spock.” And she starts laughing and I’m like “Spock can be our safe word.” And we were both laughing so now Spock is her code word if she notices me reeling back in my reports and not being thorough enough.
