Like. I think I understand what OP wants to say, maybe.

But.

It is very ignorant to the reasons people fixate on WAGs or very ignorant to the implications or something else. Either way. Bad take.

People don't fixate on WAGs for a sport aspect. People who genuinely love WAGs love them because they are pretty, because of their personalities, because most of them are influencers or very influencer-adjacent and are thus loved for the same reason other influencers are. Which is, y'know, largely related to looks.

It really has nothing to do with sport.

So to tell people to watch women's sport instead is:

1. Just a straight up bad suggestion. Watching women's sport is NOT the same as being part of an influencer or influencer-adjacent community and,

2. Extremely reductive to women's sports. So after all our fighting for equality, we are going to imply that the only value to women's sport is their beauty? Okay 🤨
