Des questions concernant des phrases d'exemple avec, et la définition et l'utilisation de "Why"

A: It is correct and it means that the person who is speaking would prefer it if the other person would ask someone (a woman) why they can't go somewhere.

A: It’s them throwing shade (jokes towards someone), saying that it’s weird because she never calls. Like how would she know if the person doesn’t call and tell her something?

If you want to use only the past participle of the verb to talk about a past action, then you use the past simple tense:

"I saw it."
Usually this refers to a specific time. When did you see it?

"I have seen it."
This is more general. Yes, I saw it but the time is not so important. The fact that I have seen it is the most important point.

A: "Why don't you ask you boss for a raise?" (I suggest you ask your boss to pay you more money.)

"Why don't we take a vacation?" (I want to take a vacation together.)

The response could be either something like "OK, I will/OK, let's do it" or "I don't want to/Now isn't the right time because..." Even though it's phrased as a question in the form of asking for a reason, it's really a suggestion or request.

A: Who is that lady over there?

Who would like to come with me to the ice cream parlor?

Who are you?

Why are you following me?

Why do birds have wings?

Why do you always laugh?

A: Honestly if you're not sure, probably just say "why'd" to be safe since it means both as long as they're both past tense but I hear "why did" shortened more than "why would" usually

Why did = talking about a past action

*someone EATS your food
Why'd you do that that?


Why would = talking about a past action (usually when it's unbelievable, shortened to why'd) or a hypothetical action (not shortened to why'd )

*someone PUNCHES your friend
Why'd you do that? Why would you do that??

*someone asks IF they SHOULD shave their head
Why would you do that??

So examples 4, 5, 9, and 10 are incorrect, but the rest are natural.

This sentence structure is usually used to ask a rhetorical question.

A: "Why don't you like to play games?"
"Why don't you play games?"도 쓰면 돼요.
"Why don't you play a game?"는 제안형 문장입니다 ^^

A: “Does” puts emphasis on the action. One way to put it is “when he is (doing the) eating”. In that sentence, it’s asking what time he eats. “When he eats” is used to describe what he’s also doing/doing at the same time.
“When he eats, he watches his phone.”
“He likes to talk when he eats”

“When does he eat?”
“He usually eats at around 6:30 for dinner.”

A: It depends what you want to say. If you want your conversation partner to give an explanation to the third person, just say “I’d rather you explain to her why you can’t go”. That is, you, not me. In common usage is “I’d rather you explained to her why you can’t go” and it has more a sense that it would be nice if she received an explanation- it could also have the same meaning as my first example if the emphasis was on “you”. I don’t think I would use ‘“would explain” - doesn’t sound natural. Complicated answer. Hope it helps 🤞

Will is for future

I will do it tomorrow! = I'm going to do it tomorrow
You will come back someday = Someday you are coming back
