Mr. R’s STEAM Lab on Instagram: "LAVA!!!!  “Why Are These People So Close To A Volcano? 🌋"  3rd Grade Makers used SuperSTEM by Scholastic Magazines+ to learn about the 2021 volcanic eruption of Fagradalsfjall in Iceland🇮🇸, its first eruption in around 6,000 years! They examined lava flow and how researchers can use topography to determine the direction lava will travel after an eruption.   Makers then sculpted their own model volcanos and predicted the lava flow patterns.
