We made a friendship flower bouquet to celebrate MLK jr. Day.  We spent the week learning about diversity, equality,peace, and what it means to be a good friend.  The children traced their hands and then perforated the tracings using push pins (we call it pin-pricking).  Then they told us how to be a good friend and we wrote it down with their name on their handprint flowers.  They had such a good time!
