I've been fascinated with locker hooking since Vicki posted about her project some time ago. I saw this book in Hobby Lobby one day, and it was calling my name..... It had a gorgeous hooked canvas journal book cover on the front...I waited and waited for awhile, then I caved in and bought it....Theresa Pulido is the rug hooking artist/ author, and she has a website devoted to locker hooking with videos, free patterns and gorgeous fabric strips. My left hand is underneath the frame guiding the fabric onto the hook and when I pull up the hook my other hand is holding the fabric giving it tension to create the loop height.  It’s such an interesting process and this will work with different yarn weights too.  This circular pattern left me with very little waste, I managed to use up all but three strands of fabric.
