Teresa ✨ Floral Photographer on Instagram: "Waiting for Julia Rose ✨ one of my favorite itoh peonies, and its red shoots have just come up. Itohs are hybrids of herbaceous peonies (foliage and plant dies back every fall) and tree peonies (bark structure stays year round). Have you seen an itoh IRL? #peony #peonies #itoh #springflowers #springblooms #springgarden #cutflowergarden #petalperfection #floweraddict" Jeff Gogue, Itoh Peony, Peony Plant, Tree Peonies, Itoh Peonies, Facebook Birthday, Julia Rose, Planting Peonies, Tree Peony

Angie Tomey on Instagram: "This is the peony Itoh ‘Julia Rose’. Most of my Itoh types got knocked back by terrible Botryitis this year but a few are finding their way through. Itoh hybrids are crosses between tree peonies and the standard herbaceous peonies. They’re super vigorous but are pretty finicky about really well drained soil. That’s why I think many of ours are struggling- I’m thinking of moving them this winter. Anyways, for now I’m enjoying these few spectacular blooms. #itohpeonies" Peony Itoh, Itoh Peony, Tree Peonies, Itoh Peonies, Julia Rose, Tree Peony, Week 1, Knock Knock, Peonies
