During the battle of Helm's Deep the Uruk-Hai place the bombs Saruman prepared at the small weakspot of the Hornburg. A Uruk-Hai Berserker fires the bombs! The Golden Hall In Edoras, there stands aloft a great hall of Men. It seems to the eyes that it is thatched with gold and the light of it shines far over the land of Rohan. Meduseld is one of the most beautiful buildings in The Lord of the Rings and was exciting to recreate. The hall is massive so I tried to capture the essence of it within this vignette. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release of Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers today on December 18th, me and other talented LOTR builders have come together to build a scene each from the movie to honor Peter Jackson and his teams’ faultless on-screen adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien’s book. I choose to represent Sam and frodo climbing Emyn Muil and try a new type of rockwork with some smaller pieces than usually.

Aragorn, Gimli and Legolas follow the track of the Hobbits through Rohan into Fangorn. They don't find Merry and Pippin, but their lost friend Gandalf! He has returned as the White Wizard to finish his task.
