If you’ve ever worked with cherry or mahogany wood, you know it can sometimes turn out way too pink. But no worries, I’ve got a super simple, money-saving solution!

Instead of spending a ton on store-bought wood bleach, you can make it yourself using just a few basic ingredients.

I’m using this homemade wood bleach recipe to transform this cherry nightstand top from pink to light and natural. The best part? You can make several rounds of wood bleach with this method for much less than you’d spend on a store-bought kit.

this one helps remove stains in wood such as water stains. If you apply it over a whole surface it can give the appearance of a lighter look by removing light surface staining.
Here’s a Tip!
Bar keepers friend has a small amount of oxalic acid in it so it can be great for making a paste and sitting on top of a stain.
