Hi, a few people accused this of being AI generated and I would like to point out I actually painted this— it was inspired by how fucked up AI generated captcha images look, of course, but the final result was hand-drawn. Don’t mind that I have over 200 layers on this thing haha my painting process is a disaster
I appreciate the people reassuring me in the comments so much haha but don’t worry I wasn’t upset! I found it funny + it was an understandable mistake anyway since I was deliberately trying to imitate that vibe, just wanted to clear up that it was art because I evidently forgot to when I initially posted it
Oh yeah, extra details: the rock/leaf litter textures I used for the ground are actually static grain taken from MRI brain scans I had done years ago

best thing abt the sunny gang is that theyre all in their late 40s but only like two of them have cars on a good day & im pretty sure only one of them has a laptop & half of them r divorced & the only people they interact with on a regular basis r also people theyve known since high school & none of those people even fw them. its helping me set reasonable expectations for the future
Sorry guys I won't shut up SO I dearly love how Root is the only thing that ties Shaw to the reality. And I love how she does it. You say you'll kill yourself to protect me? I'll kill myself so you won't have to or at least we'll die together. You say nothing's real and it's just a simulation? Here's a nice nerdy theory to support your point of view. She doesn't remind her of what's real (maybe nothing is) but she reminds her that she's not insane and not alone. And for me that's why Shaw continues to work with the Machine. Because Root's voice is what ties her to the reality
