Thinking about Charles "constantly considering everyone else's feelings" Rowland and Edwin "has never had his feelings prioritized ever" Payne

May 1991. A library in London.

Edwin slammed his notebook down onto the table, making Charles jump.

"What is it?"

"If I have to endure that noise for much longer, I am going to go mad."

"Er… What noise, mate?"

"Don't tell me you cannot hear it," Edwin replied, going a tinge wide-eyed at the thought.

They sat in silence for a moment. Charles strained his ears. He could just make out a soft, electric hum. "That buzzing?"

"The answer's gotta be in there... somewhere" - and it was! We found our winner! The gif that can now proudly call itself the best gif/moment of episode two :) But the finale was incredibly close, so I also want to give a shout out to our second place gif, loosing out on the top spot by only a handful of votes... 💙 And finally, I love that Niko made third place in her episode - poetry! ✨

Thanks to everyone who still takes part in these tournaments and finds some joy in making impossible choices! You are all aces :)
The next tournament might have to wait a little bit, I'm not sure when I'll have the time to set it up. But rest assured, it will happen! Lots of love, Tink

It started as a joke, but I kind of became invested in the process...

I imagine them bonding over being married to their jobs. They synchronize their lunch breaks, but since none of them can eat, they spend time chatting instead. The Notary talks about her children (those that "graduated" under her jurisdiction), and the Postman shares how proud he is of his (the ones he delivers mail to). For both of them the job comes first, and they respect that in each other.
