Idk maybe this is shitty of me but I get extremely fed up extremely quickly by people making claims about XYZ old person politician Literally Having Dementia. I truly don't think the average person on this website knows what dementia actually looks like and how devastating and frightening dementia can be, both for the person who has it and the people around them. Like you know you can just call Trump stupid you don't need to diagnose him with anything. People who recognize that this pathologizing shit is bad and tasteless with "narcissistic" but not with dementia/Alzheimer's is really just proof of how low elderly people rank on most people's list of importance
