@leahecole It looks like pip install scipy is currently failing for python3.10. Are you seeing this elsewhere?

Yep, scipy and numpy aren't yet ready for 3.10. If this sample isn't in our tracking issue yet (#6902), please add it, then this is okay to merge assuming all other tests are ok
